About

A contractor youdon't have to chase.

Florida A2Z Construction started with one crew and a rule the trade mostly talks about: the number on the estimate is the number on the invoice. Fifteen years later we run residential builds, renovations, and additions across the Jacksonville area — still on that rule.

We keep our own core trades on payroll — framing, finish carpentry, tile — and hold a short bench of licensed subs we've worked with for years. That's why our schedules hold: nobody on your job is meeting us for the first time.

Values

What we hold the line on.

The estimate is the price

Itemized scope before contract. Changes are priced and signed before the work happens — the final invoice should read like the first estimate.

Inspections are the floor, not the finish

The county checks code. We check square, level, plumb, and the sight lines you’ll live with for twenty years.

Your house, treated like occupied

Dust walls up before demo, floors protected, site broom-clean every evening — whether you’re living in it or not.

Bad news travels fastest

If a date or a number moves, you hear it from us the day we know — with the new date and the new number attached.

Meet the owner

The estimator who walks your site runs your job.

Our founder came up through the trades — framing first, then finish carpentry, then a state general contractor's license. He still prices every job personally and walks every site at slab, frame, and final. When you call the office, the person who answers can pull up your job, not a ticket number.
